Companies that paint more than  6 ft² of an interior surface or 20 ft² of an exterior surface, must follow the RRP law and be EPA Lead Safe Certified or face fines totaling up to $37,500 a day.

The law went into effect in 2010 and it is time for over 200,000 certified renovators to renew their certifications. Make sure you are covered and see your store for more details on courses being offered in your area before the July 1, 2015 deadline.
